Environmental Impact

Whilst we acknowledge that we cannot totally eradicate our impact on the environment here at Buy Fashion Jewelley.com, we do our very best to minimise it.

Home Working

Where possible, our staff work from home to minimise their daily commute - reducing their carbon footprint through less travel required.

Our Website Hosting is Green

The server on which we host this website is fueled by 100% renewable energy, provided by HostGator.com.

Our Office Energy is Green

Our main office electricity is 100% renewable energy, provided by NPower in association with The National Trust. We also have a policy of switching off unwanted plugs, lights etc and run an energy saving device to notify us of our energy consumption and sets targets for us to reduce our consumption.

We use minimal packaging

Whilst it is not possible for us to have a totally environmentally friendly system, we recycle our packing which helps us keep our postage costs down and reduces the need to use as much new packing as we'd otherwise need. This means that you MAY receive your purchase in a pre-used jiffy bag, which will be totally secure for the purpose of sending your purchase but will reduce our need to utilise additional packaging.

We also send all items in a resealable (and reuseable) zip-lock plastic bag rather than large boxes and packages. This again helps reduce the postage costs and impact on the environment through additional weight to transport etc.
